Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Lift Labs ("Lift Labs", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you visit our website, purchase our products, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us
- Contact details: name and email address when you purchase or sign up.
- Payment information: when you make a purchase, your payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. We do not store full card numbers or CVV codes on our servers; we receive a transaction confirmation and limited metadata (such as the last four digits of your card, card brand, and country).
- Communications: the content of any messages, support requests, or feedback you send us.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, links clicked, time spent, and similar log data.
- Cookies and similar technologies: we and our analytics and advertising partners use cookies, pixels (including the Meta Pixel), and similar tracking technologies to operate the Services, measure performance, and serve relevant ads. See "Cookies & Tracking" below.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To process and fulfill your orders and deliver the Product;
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- To send transactional messages (e.g., receipts, download links, order updates);
- To send marketing emails about our products, where permitted by law and subject to your right to opt out;
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Services and develop new features;
- To measure and analyze ad performance, including via the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, and to deliver relevant advertising;
- To prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal Bases (EEA / UK Users)
Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases: (a) performance of a contract (to fulfill your order); (b) legitimate interests (to operate and secure the Services, prevent fraud, and market to existing customers); (c) consent (for non-essential cookies, pixels, and certain marketing); and (d) legal obligation (to comply with tax, accounting, and other laws).
4. How We Share Information
We share information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information for money.
- Service providers: Stripe (payment processing), email and hosting providers, analytics providers, and customer support tools, who process information on our behalf and only as instructed by us.
- Advertising partners: Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook/Instagram) receives certain event data via the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, including hashed email addresses, IP address, user agent, and event details (e.g., purchase value), so that we can measure ad performance and reach relevant audiences. Some U.S. state privacy laws may classify this as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising — see "Your Rights" below to opt out.
- Legal and safety: we may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, analyze traffic, and measure advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; if you disable cookies, some features may not work. We also support browser-based opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) where required by law.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations (including tax and accounting), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize the information.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. All payments are processed over encrypted (TLS) connections, and card data is handled by PCI-compliant processor Stripe. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you;
- port your information to another service;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and similar U.S. state laws);
- opt out of marketing emails using the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing message;
- lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email Info@liftlabs.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
9. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. International Transfers
We are based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate, which may have data-protection laws different from those in your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).
11. Third-Party Sites
The Services may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
